When you’re starting out with creating your very own WordPress website while using the Divi theme, one way or another, you’ll have to start adding CSS codes. It’s very important to know how & where to add them properly to make sure that the changes you’re making are implemented correctly.
There are 2 ways to do this, and they are very simple:
Let’s get to them!
Method 1: Theme Customizer
Step 1: Head over to Theme Customizer to add CSS
Let’s go to the Theme Customizer to add the CSS codes via WordPress dashboard > Divi > Theme Customizer > Additional CSS
That’s it! Just make sure to click the Publish button after!
Method 2: Theme Options
Step 1: Head over to Theme Options to add CSS
Head to the Theme Options to add the CSS codes via WordPress dashboard > Divi > Theme Options > General (then scroll down) > Custom CSS
And again, make sure to click the Save Changes button after!
You might notice that the CSS codes in Method 1: Theme Customizer is exactly the same as in Method 2: Theme Options. Whatever changes you make will be shown immediately in the other. Feel free to choose the method that works best for you.
That’s it! Now you know how & where to add the CSS Codes!
